Executive Director Ben Oyemade has decades of experience in academic tutoring and in the development of highly effective strategies, curriculum, and content for standardized test preparation programs. Ben has helped thousands of students around the world achieve top scores on the ACT & SAT and secure admission and scholarships to the top colleges and universities in the United States.
After several years of managing, teaching, and directing test-prep programs for some of the top educational companies, Ben launched Great Expectations Academic Tutoring in 2013 with a vision to provide a more effective path to ACT/SAT success for students that specifically focuses on individualized curriculum, positive encouragement, modeling-based learning, and optimal growth development planning.
Ben scored in the top 1% on the ACT and SAT, and he graduated from high school at the age of 15. He received his B.B.A in Marketing from Georgia State University in 2001.
How It Works
No two students or organizations are alike: we invest in each student to cultivate a unique, individualized test preparation plan.
Tutoring can be conducted on a 1-to-1 basis or in a small/large group. Tutoring may be conducted at a private residence, in a classroom-setting, online, or at a local library.
All practice/testing materials that we use are derived from authentic, official ACT/SAT exams administered within the last 3 years; We employ expert-level tutors and specialize in teaching the most effective test-taking strategies.
